"In my first public album, Burst of Being, I aim to symbolize the relentlessness of life in the world around us. Life is a fundamental force of the universe, and every living thing struggles to survive in this vast cosmic relay. Everything strives to be. Life is ancient, rooting deep in all of us. Looking at a tree in my backyard, I couldn’t help but notice how much we, as humans, actually have in common with trees. Its unique form is shaped by decades of co-emergence with its neighbors and the environment, preceded by millions of years of evolution. There is a story in every curve, branch, and scar on the bark. A story of survival, a story of being – it is what we all share."

Bio
George (Yuriy) Bogdanov composes contemporary classical music, envisioning his work as an ever-emerging soundtrack to life. Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, he now lives in Seattle, USA. After two decades of a software engineering career, he stepped away to pursue other passions.
George has composed music since childhood, and he recently began sharing his creations with the world. Having obtained a formal classical education in piano, he is primarily self-taught as a composer, sound engineer, and lately, an aspiring cellist.
Music is a powerful language understood by everybody, yet no two people will ever feel the same way about a single musical piece. George draws inspiration from nature, cycling adventures, meditation, and the immensity of life. Although he titles works based on personal experiences, he invites you to invoke your own meaning, as no label can ever encompass the intricacy and depth of what music can convey.
